Hey lovelies, here I am going to be answering some questions on where I have been and what is to come next for myself and this blog.
1. Why did you stop posting?
I stopped posting on here because I took a break from wearing makeup. In fact I stopped wearing makeup all together, which obviously defeats the purpose of my blog as it is entirely beauty based.
2. Why did you stop wearing makeup?
My skin! My skin had become a problem. I was wearing makeup to cover how bad my skin was underneath, that I actually made it worse! So I have spent some time working on clearing my skin and finding the right products for me.
3. What have you been up to?
Where do I start… I have been focusing on my career in education. I have now been promoted to team leader of pre-school which is a big step for me. I have conquered some fears e.g. flying in an aeroplane. My new found hobby is ice skating. Just living life to the fullest as they say.
4. What is to come next?
I am back to wearing makeup and it is still a big passion of mine. I want to bring the blog back to life again, but also bring some lifestyle into it too. I want to be able to take breaks from wearing makeup and still feel like I can post on my blog.
There will be lots of makeup tutorials coming and also posts about my life e.g. the ice skating, my career and where I am travelling to.
I hope this answers everything and I will see you again soon.
I have been taking a mini break for a week or so as on the 6th March it was my 21st birthday. I wanted to make it a special celebration so I decided to do some dramatic makeup, especially on the eye, to share with you all.

🌼 Base Makeup🌼
Foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation £9.99
Concealer: Maybelline Eye Eraser £8.99
Powder: Rimmel Insta Fix and Matte £3.99
Bronzer: Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder £7.99
Contour: Benefit Hoola Bronzer (as I like more of a bronzy contour compared to one that looks muddy) £25.50
Here is the fun part of doing my makeup everyday. I love creating quite out their looks so I thought I’d go very out of my comfort zone for my 21st. I decided to use two very loved palettes that I have recently purchased. You will find them in my previous post if you click here.
The palettes are both from Makeup Revolution and they were the Re-loaded IconicVitality Palette and the Love Conquers All Palette.
It’s that time of year again. It’s Valentines day. Personally I am not a fan of Valentines day but I think I have managed to create a makeup look/outfit that could be for a night out for all you lovers or for those single independent women. I will give you a run down of all of the products I used to create this makeup look and the outfit I am wearing. If I cannot find the original item I will try to find something similar.

💕Outfit💕
For outfit I wanted something smart but casual but also a bit dressy so that you could wear it out for a romantic meal or just out with your friends.
Shoes
I went for some very “out their” shoes. I am a bit in love with these sparkly silver shoes from New Look. These are also still on the website in the sale (which is amazing!)
Top
I kept with the valentines theme and went with a red fitted thin jumper with criss cross front and this was from H&M. I couldn’t find the original garment on the website however they do have a couple of other red jumpers with a similar vibe.
Trousers
For trousers I went with some simple viscose leggings from Dorothy Perkins which are still on the website if you want to purchase them.
Hello again! I’m so so sorry for a late post. The past few days have consisted in so much bliss and happiness for me that I didn’t get chance to write this post. But have no fear, the post is here (am I good poet yet? No? Okay i’ll keep trying.)
Today’s post is going to be my complete look for the Boyce Avenue concert I attended at the beginning of November. It will include my entire makeup look, how I did my hair and what I was wearing. You all seem to love my looks so I thought I would continue on that path and show you how much I have come out of my comfort zone.

I went back into my eye shadow draws to pick out an old palette that I hadn’t used in a while/ever. I came across a NYX palette, that believe it or not, still had the plastic on it. This was the Cool Neutrals palette from the NYX ULTIMATE collection. I know the palette doesn’t sound like the kind of palette that would be out of my comfort zone but it has some very ‘out there’ shades. I made it my goal to use some of those shades.

💗Hair💗
For my hair I freshly washed it that morning using these two products above. I suffer with quite a flaky and itchy scalp and this shampoo is the only thing that keeps it from coming back. Usually I keep the conditioner on my hair for about 10 minutes while I am in the shower, this helps the conditioner soak into every strand of my very thick hair to keep it silky and shiny.
When it came around to getting ready, I wanted to curl my hair. I have a pretty standard routine to curling my hair, however it is so thick that it takes so long to get it all curled. My routine starts by spraying the TRESemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Spray through my hair. To make sure the product is distributed evenly, I spray some onto a tangle teaser brush to get the under side of my hair.
My favourite curling utensil to use is the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Long Tong. This tong has a clip on it, however I prefer using it as a wand instead. I find with my hair I get the best curls if I use curling wands. It takes me quite a while as I have to take quite small sections and wrap it around a few times to get gorgeous beach style curls.
I finish it off with a little bit of hair spray by Elnett as their hairspray doesn’t make your hair go stiff and crispy.

The items in this look may not be available for purchase anymore so I might not be able to link it. If so then I will link something that looks similar, if you are interested in getting a similar look.
