Where Have I Been? What Will Come Next?

Hey lovelies,  here I am going to be answering some questions on where I have been and what is to come next for myself and this blog.

1. Why did you stop posting?

I stopped posting on here because I took a break from wearing makeup. In fact I stopped wearing makeup all together, which obviously defeats the purpose of my blog as it is entirely beauty based.

2. Why did you stop wearing makeup?

My skin! My skin had become a problem. I was wearing makeup to cover how bad my skin was underneath, that I actually made it worse! So I have spent some time working on clearing my skin and finding the right products for me.

3. What have you been up to?

Where do I start… I have been focusing on my career in education. I have now been promoted to team leader of pre-school which is a big step for me. I have conquered some fears e.g. flying in an aeroplane. My new found hobby is ice skating. Just living life to the fullest as they say.

4. What is to come next?

I am back to wearing makeup and it is still a big passion of mine. I want to bring the blog back to life again, but also bring some lifestyle into it too. I want to be able to take breaks from wearing makeup and still feel like I can post on my blog.

There will be lots of makeup tutorials coming and also posts about my life e.g. the ice skating, my career and where I am travelling to.

I hope this answers everything and I will see you again soon.

Guess who’s back.

Oh it’s been a long time. Life has thrown many a challenge at me but I am safe to say I have come out on top.

I have come back here to say I will starting up my blog again and will also be considering starting a YouTube channel.

We shall see what is next to come. Happy New Year.

Lots of love,

21st Birthday Makeup🥂

Hello again lovelies,

I have been taking a mini break for a week or so as on the 6th March it was my 21st birthday. I wanted to make it a special celebration so I decided to do some dramatic makeup, especially on the eye, to share with you all.

🌸Eyeshadow🌸

Here is the fun part of doing my makeup everyday. I love creating quite out their looks so I thought I’d go very out of my comfort zone for my 21st. I decided to use two very loved palettes that I have recently purchased. You will find them in my previous post if you click here.

The palettes are both from Makeup Revolution and they were the Re-loaded Iconic Vitality Palette and the Love Conquers All Palette.

The first thing I did was prime my lids with the L’Oreal Eye Primer. Once that had sunk into my lid, I took this nude shade, from the Vitality palette, on a NYX fluffy brush and buffed it into my crease as a transition shade.

I then took another fluffy brush from NYX and took this more orangy nude shade and buffed that in to the outer crease to really ombre out the look so it looks completely blended. I like to do this when I am going to use vibrant colours as they can look super harsh in photos like you haven’t blended it at all.

Next I took the same fluffy brush I used with the orangy shade and I took both of these red shades (they look more vibrant in person) and tried to focus it on the very corner to give my eye some dimension. After applying the vibrant shades I took the very first brush I used with the nude shade and I made sure everything was blended smoothly with no harsh lines.

At this point I knew I wanted to do a half cut crease so I took my beloved Collection concealer and carved out the first half of the lid. I then took this beautiful shimmery white shade and a little bit of the highlighter from the middle, onto a flat Lottie London brush and went to town with packing it on. I packed so much on because I wanted it to be blinding. You know I love sparkles.

Thank you for reading and I will see you again soon.

Updated Every Day Makeup Look 💋

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

I though it was about time I did an updated every day makeup look as the last one I did was back in May last year. Most of the products I use have changed now. I will talk about the differences in the products I use now compared to the ones I used before. Anything I don’t compare just means I am using the same product as last time.

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation £9.99

*This was a product I changed as I was using one by Charlotte Tilbury which was £30 and I didn’t want to keep spending that much every time I needed a new foundation. As much as I loved the foundation and would buy it again if I could spare the money every time. I went in search of a drug store, affordable dupe for it and I found this one from Bourjois which is a third of the price*

Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £3.99

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Powder: Rimmel Insta Fix & Matte Powder £4.99

*Don’t get me wrong, you know I adore NYX products, but I come from a small town where our Boots is small and doesn’t stock NYX products. I know I could buy it off the website but I work all day and would miss the parcel and if I need it for the next day then I couldn’t and I would be an oily mess. So I picked this one up as a quick dupe*

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Bronzer: Benefit Hoola Bronzer £20

*I used to use my holy grail L’Oreal La Terra Bronzer, which I still switch between but I reach more for my Benefit one as it is also the perfect shade to contour my cheek bones with*

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Brows: Zoeva Graphic Brows Pencil £7.50 + Freedom Dip Brow Pomade £5

*I am still using the Zoeva Brow pencil, mainly for the spooly at the end but I switched back to my Freedom Dip Brow as I find my brows look more natural with this product*

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Mascara: Benefit Bad Gal Lash £18.50

*I used to use the amazing Miss Baby Roll mascara but I felt it was a bit too heavy for every day quick makeup. The Benefit one gives you natural looking lashes, perfect for the day. Also doesn’t transfer at all through out the day*

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Highlight: I Heart Makeup (Goddess of Love) £4.99

*BEST HIGHLIGHT I HAVE EVER USED AND FOR THE BEST PRICE! My Jouer one which was incredibly expensive for the size of it, shattered. I hadn’t dropped it or anything. As soon as the weather got colder it shattered like ice which is totally ironic as that was the shade I had*

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Blush: Benefit Rockateur Blush £24.50

_.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-.__.-**-._.-**-._

Lipstick: Disney Cinderella Lipsticks by MAC (Royal Ball) £16 or just a simple lip balm by Nivea £1
